What’s the Secret to Fostering Successful Student Bible Engagement?

ABOUT THE RESEARCH
This report contrasts student beliefs with adult assumptions of student beliefs. This study was conducted with a 40-question survey, presented to 2,861 students and 446 adults, most of whom come from a churched background. Over 900 hours were spent conducting this research. The sample size represents 57% female and 43% male, 32% middle school students, and 68% high school students. Eighty-two percent attend a public school, 8% attend a private Christian school, 2% attend a private non-Christian school, 2% attend a private or charter school, and 6% are homeschooled. The ethnicities represented are 68% Caucasian, 9% African American, 5% Hispanic, 3% Asian, and 15% Other. Participants come from Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
