The Impact of A Praying Parent

But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers. Luke 22:32

I have prayed for you. What power-packed words! What hope and comfort there is in this one little sentence, especially when you discover who it is that said this. These are the very words of Jesus!  Jesus prayed for Simon Peter and you know what, His prayers were answered. Peter’s faith did not fail!

There is something so powerful when you hear that someone, especially someone who you know is really praying, says they are praying for you. It really is one of the best gifts we can give here on earth. I truly believe that is why Romans 8:34 is true:  Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Jesus, who knows all, is choosing to make prayer His holy occupation in heaven. Wow!

These words from our friends at Moms In Prayer are intended for you to share with your children to encourage them as they go through their daily routines. The prayers of others can lift them up throughout the day:

Did you know that over 100,000 moms, aunts, and grandmas are praying for YOU? All around the world, on 6 continents, and in over 160 countries, moms are gathering every week to pray for YOU and YOUR schools. Moms in Prayer International is a ministry that is all about praying for students, teachers and schools. It is a ministry that pairs the passion of moms for their children (if you have a mom, then you know what I am talking about) with the power of God through prayer. It is an unstoppable force!

Claim Your Campus is so near to the heart of Moms in Prayer moms. We love this ministry! Each praying student being raised up through CYC is a direct answer to the prayers of moms all around the world! We are praying for you and we mean it.

When you walk onto your campus, you are walking onto covered ground.  When you share the gospel, you are sharing with prepared hearts. When you invite students to pray, you are inviting students who have already heard the call.

We have prayed for you and for your faith; it will not fail.  Go out and strengthen your fellow students. Jesus and a worldwide army of praying moms are with you.

May the God of peace equip you with everything good for doing His will and may He work in you what is pleasing to Him through Jesus Christ. Amen!
